Guildford V Basingstoke game report Feb 2012

Wow what an intense game that was. Well done Firestorm, We did it. ?
We came into this game missing 5 of our players. Thank fully we had 4 wonderful u12 players join our team. So we would like to say Thank you to Sam, Cole, Cam and Richard.
The first goal was scored by Basingstoke’s Josh and assisted by Hallam. This was a “Holy Mackerel “they scored moment for our team. We then came back with a wonderful goal to tie the game at 1 – 1 scored by Brandon and assisted by Josh W. Basingstoke’s Hallam put on a good performance and scored an unassisted goal to give Basingstoke the lead. With 9 minutes left of the game things were getting pretty tense, but then with an unassisted goal from Marcus H to tie the game, things were only going to get closer. With 3 ½ minutes to go the game looked like it might end up in a tie however with brilliant passing from both Josh and Brandon, Richard managed to score, giving Firestorm the lead and Win.
